When engineers first thought about pumping concrete through a pipeline from A to B, they logically required a stationary pump that could be placed under a concrete mixer and would then pump for weeks and months from this one position.
What was valid at that time, still applies today. Trailer (or stationary) concrete pumps find their applications in all aspects of civil engineering, mining and tunnelling and are used to convey all types of concrete, shotcrete, bentonite slurries and mortar.
And in many cases, the "end products" that trailer pumps help to build are clearly the peak of today's architectural and engineering technologies. These machine go to work to pump concrete easily and efficiently to heights of almost half a kilometre, or over distances up to nearly 3 kilometres.
